Digital Waterfall Photography - Experiment with Zooming

SUMMARY: Zooming out to get the whole waterfall picture is great, but consider capturing detail others may miss in a waterfall scene.

Instead of taking the 'standard' waterfall photograph using a wide-angle lens to view the entire waterfall in one photo, consider zooming in for detail. Great photos can be had of water splashing on moss-covered rocks, a loose plant or flower floating on the water, and other small details that others may miss.
